26ga Val-3 and Tuf-Rib Our very experienced and fantastic Production Team has designed a slitter to work with our Val-3 and Tuf-Rib roll-formers. This slitter allows us to offer all our 26ga colors in the Val-3 and Tuf-rib Profiles! Once again, we listen to our customers who have continually requested 26ga specific colors in the popular Val-3 and Tuf-rib Profiles!!! …which leads us to… Valley Rolling Corp SEDCOR Manufacturer of the Year!! Valley Rolling Corp was awarded SEDCOR (Strategic Economic Development Corporation) Manufacturer of the Year. SEDCOR is a private, nonprofit membership organization, composed of more than 500 business and community leaders. Laura accepted the award for Valley Rolling Corp, emphasizing that it is the Customers and Employees that make Valley Rolling a superior manufacturer, focusing on the “Back to Service!” motto! She also stated that our goal is to have fun at work and to bring the business back to the Valley! Flat Lining in a Good Way We all know how steel prices skyrocketed in 2008. Valley Rolling strived to keep prices reasonable, negotiating our

costs to keep our customer’s competitive, proven as we were the last manufacturer to increase prices. Steel prices have dropped to date, but we have received increase prices from our steel mills for our fall shipment. Our goal is to flat line, in a good way. Keep the prices steady, to ward off any increases in the fall to our customers. Galfan Special Did you see our special?!?! Yes, we are serious, bare brown tinted Galfan is selling for $1.00 a lineal foot until July 31st. Your customer’s will be very pleased with the quality and longevity of this product, and our goal is to entice customers to try the Galfan steel. Please stress to your end user, that the brown tint will eventually fade, leaving the steel with the bare galvanized look everyone is used to. Finding the Best Deal With the tough economic times we are all dealing with, everyone is looking for the best deal. In regards to metal, the cheapest deal, may not be the best deal. Ask yourself the following questions: 1. Will you be supporting a metal vendor who sales direct? 2. What level of service do you expect? 3. Will the customer want more of the same color

in the future? Will it be available? 4. Is the metal vendor locally owned and operated? Same State? Same Country? 5. Would my primary metal supplier match the price? 6. What is the paint warranty?
